Water Science Projects and Classes

Dr. Gordon Snyder, Director.
He consulted in Water Quality and Conservation for several companies such as Beckman Instruments, Inc. for ozone water purification and heavy metal removal, Perkin-Elmer Corporation and Orbital Sciences on NASA space station water recycling, on Department of Defense and Department of Energy water quality monitoring and recycling projects, McDonnell Douglas Corp. for NASA water sterilization and hydroponics recycling, U.S. Forest Service and EPA regional and local watershed management.

Dr. Snyder has been involved in presenting over 160 workshops. Numerous water experiments and demonstrations to elementary and middle school classrooms have led to water study kits that students and teachers are using across the country. These water study kits are used by a wide variety of classes and training programs from elementary school to college labs to community programs.
