Water is dynamic, always moving and changing. It is used and reused and reused an used again, relentlessly for billions of cycles of use. In nature, the amount and quality of water available for use dictates the characteristics of the surrounding environment. In our growing areas of civilization, water needs have outgrown naturally available water supplies. This lack of usable water forces demand for water to rise. This creates complex perspectives and interactions dealing with water quality, supply and use. Ultimately this leads to conflicts between available natural water supply and growing demand of civilization. Improving water awareness, implementing conservation programs, and installing efficient equipment can greatly expand everyones water supplies and minimize conflicting water needs. |
